Merilees, Hilma Evangeline "Eva" (Dunmore)

Passed away September 15, 2002 at U.B.C. Hospital. Born in Vancouver, October 25, 1908. Predeceased by her husband Welborne Lawrence; two brothers, William and Herbert; and four sisters, Mary, Alma, Mildred and Florence. She is survived by her son William (June) and family of Nanaimo; daughter Janice Heine (Wilf) and family of Delta, daughter Heather of Vancouver; four grandsons; two granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter. Eva was active in P.E.O. for more than 60 years. A school teacher - librarian by training she was stimulated by current affairs and enjoyed painting and knitting into her final days. An inspiration to all who knew her, she will be remembered with love and affection.
